A day late...

I've been so messed up this week because of Spring break - plus going away for the weekend make me even more screwy!!
CARD #1 - I used the new set from www.papertreyink.com for this card. It's one layer... yes ONE layer!! That is really hard for me to do! I did the SCS challenge today (to use markers) - so I colored the watering can with markers to achieve the striped look. I then used the same markers to stamp the flowers along the bottom. The water coming from the can are dots of irridescent ice stickles. For a one layer card I'm really happy with the way this turned out!

CARD #2 - I used last month's

Papertrey set (www.papertreyink.com) for this card. I really like the clean look of the

white background and the multicolored butterflies. This starburst butterfly is my favorite from the set! I attached the butterflies to the card with silver brads, and popped the flowers up on dimensionals.
-
The flourish on the bottom is from SU!'s Doodle This stamp set. I watercolored it with old olive watercolor crayons.
-

CARD #3 was removed from my blog for publication in an upcoming magazine - keep an eye out for it in November!
-
BLOG CANDY - Leave a comment on today's post and one lucky winner will receive a bag full of chipboard, ribbons and Primas - plus maybe a few more goodies as well.
-
BASIC GREY UPDATE - I just received a new shipment of the 6x6 pads - I am completely sold out of Lily Kate though and very low on Blush and Romani. I have LOTS of Stella Ruby though... since this is the most popular! Check out my website too see what my newest bundle will be!

These are some great cards. My favorite is #1. I'm loving the versatility of the Green Thumb set. It's on my WISH list for sure. I have to wait a little longer....pout :(! #3 runs a close second because I just love the rich colors. I so love my piercer and think that adds so much fun detail.
Thanks for sharing! Chris Hauck
