I'm in a hurry this morning, so I didn't have much time to work on an elaborate card. This one was soooooo easy. I used this big floral background paper from American Craft - it's called Madison Avenue. The big flowers were painted with Pearl Ex powders and clear floor wax. The purple flower was done with interference violet, orange was painted with copper, and pink was painted with flamingo pink. since this was 2 sided designer paper, I simply used the reverse side for the orange trim and the flowers. The flower is on a scalloped circle that was wrapped with gold cord.

Another wonderful creation. It's just amazing the things you can do with Pearlex. I definately have to buy more.
i did go to michaels on monday and buy some pearl ex...glad i had a 40% coupon...the colors are so beautiful...i want to use them as eyeshadow! not that i would, only because it would probably damage my eyes...i am so fasinated by colors. i devote a lot of my thought life to colors, and just the absolute endless array of combinations! thats why i am so impressed with your art, michelle, the colors are ou la la!!!!! how do you spell ou la la? michelle...did you use one of those aqua pens when using the pearl ex and floor wax? tfs!

Wow - it's eye popping. I too have to find out more about the floor wax, I'm sensitive to smelly stuff so I wonder if it would be ok for me. Hmmmmm
Oh I never thought to use it on already patterned paper! Genius!
