Big Pearly Blossom

This is one of the easiest ways to use Pearl Ex - it's called Poppin' Pearls (click the link for a great tutuorial on SCS). I basically used Versamark ink to stamp the images and rubbed Pearl Ex powder into the ink.
-
The big blossom is stamped on Eggplant cardstock with Versamark. I rubbed Misty Lavender, Flamingo Pink, and Pearl White Pearl Ex onto the flower from the center outward. The background was embossed with my cuttlebug, then I gently rubbed versamark and Sapphire Pearl Ex. The same method was used for the flower center.
-
This card combines all 3 of the top choices from last week's challenge vote - I know Auntybarbara has been asking for a PURPLE card.... this one is for you!! I also know some of you have been looking for some cuttlebug ideas.
-
Don't forget that I'll be giving away one of my projects on Wednesday! All you need to do is leave a comment to get a chance to win! I'll let you in on my secret method of picking a winner.... First I ask my dh to pick a number between 1 and 7 (or however many posts I have that week), then I ask him to pick a number between 1 and however many comments that post received. So the easiest way to win is to leave a comment everyday!
-
Thanks for looking - have a great day - and please SEND ME YOUR PROJECTS to blog@clothingcorner.com!

Another georgous card! I am wondering though ... how do you keep the PE from rubbing off onto people's hands once it's done? Do you spay it with something?

Man that comment I just left is filled with typos! sorry!!! I need to preview first I guess.
