Wish Upon A Star

Still gettin' chippy with it! I'm on day 2 of chipboard week - every day I will use a piece of chipboard in my design.
-
For this card I used the Basic Grey Ferris Wheel paper as my inspiration. I love the circles on this paper so I figured this piece of chipboard with the cut out circles would be a perfect match. I asked my dd for a 4-letter word to put in this spaces.... thank goodness I didn't ask my dh!!!
-
After coming up with "Wish" as the word, I decided to go with Wish Upon a Star as my sentiment. Not completely crazy about how it came out - I may still change the star around a bit - but this is it for now.
-
Since I used Basic Grey for this card, I guess it is as good a time as any for my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! I just placed my first Retailer Order with BASIC GREY! I absolutely love the 6x6 paper pads, I think they are the perfect size for card making, and the prints are shrunk down so out can get the "whole picture" on a smaller canvas! Best news is the new Basic Grey lines are included in my order..... Wanna see what's coming??? Go to the Basic Grey Website and view the products. The new lines are right at the top.... Perhaps....Phoebe.....Scarlet's Letter.....and Stella Ruby. These look gorgous and should be in around Mid February! So stay tuned for more info.
Don't forget to leave a comment! Every comment you leave gets you entered into my weekly drawing.

yes, can't agree more with Jeanna. It's awesome how you can create something out of nothing everyday & the ideas not duplicated at all.
Thanks for sharing!

Love it! The card is fab as your creations always are. Basic Grey papers are so fun; I can't get enough. I too was wondering if your news means we can order from YOU. By the way the card is great - don't change a thing. Keep on shining!

This is beautiful! When you cover up chipboard with pretty designer paper - do you just glue with adhesive or use Mod Podge. Do you sand and file th edges? I would love to try this but not sure how to start!! Thanks!
