Found this chic little image at J*'Ann marked down to $1... she reminds me of my dd, who is 13 and a complete fashionista! Even has the same flippy hairdo and attitude!
This card was created for a SCS challenge to use things that we purchased and never use... I used the retro block border stamp from the smorgashborders set. I haven't touched this set in years, and almost forgot I even had it! I watercolored the blocks with brilliant blue, ballet blue, green galore and old olive inks - also watercolored around the main image in brilliant blue.
Brilliant Blue is another one of those items I never use. I think it was one of the first stamp pads I purchased and it looks BRAND NEW!! My mom gave me some blue ribbon for Xmas and it is a great match for Brilliant Blue... now I'll have to use this color a little more... at least until the ribbon is gone!

What a stylish card! I really like the colors you chose - they go well with the focal image. I think you did a great job in resurrecting this set/ink color!
She is sooo sassy and retro! The background matches just perfect!
Awesome card =)
