It's so girly....

Every card I post this week will have CHIPBOARD on it! I have so many packages of chipboard, and am always finding more that I want to get, so for this whole week I'll put a piece on every single card!

This 4.25" x 4.25" was made using one of my round coasters from Michaels. These were found in the dollar area and come 8 to a package. I covered the coaster with paper from Autumn Leaves Foof*A*La - from Scrappers Bliss . I also used this as the background, just had the stripes going the opposite direction.

The stamps are from Autumn Leaves - Rhonna Farrer "Flower" set - another little goodie I bought from Scrappers Bliss. I stamped the flowers on white paper, watercolored the petals a little, then distressed the edges. I used my cuttlebug leaf die to cut the leaves.

My big { was from Stampin' Ups On Board Accents - I stamped it was turquoise and green liquid chalk - this stuff works great for covering chip board - it dries quick and covers really well! I tied a little ribbon around the "{".

Don't forget that I do a drawing every Wednesday for one of my posted projects. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment on my projects - leave a comment everyday and you get 7 chances to win!! Don't forget to leave your name on the comment so I know who you are!

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

I picked up some of these coasters myself but haven't done anything with 'em yet. I love what you've done, great color and texture. Love all the layers.

Michelle, I love it! And what a great idea! I think I need to do something like this on my blog. I hoard so many weird things like this (chipboard, new PP, etc). I think if I challenge myself like this, I would actually use it up instead of keeping it until something *cooler* comes out! LOL!!
